Evergreen and another new ship to invest in Far East Europe

"Changlang Wheel" is the 19th L-shaped ship contracted by Samsung Heavy Industries. Vice President Xie Xisidi said in his speech: “Twenty L-shaped ships ordered by Evergreen Group to Samsung Heavy Industries have been delivered since July 2012. All new ships have been completed on schedule and have demonstrated good operational performance. Carry out the replacement of old ships and maintain high-quality shipping services.The last L-shaped vessel that Samsung has built is expected to be completed and delivered in July this year. In 2016, we will receive five 14,000 TEUs from Samsung Heavy Industries. Chartering and continuing the old fleet replacement plan."
“Changlang Wheel” is a subsidiary of Evergreen Marine UK. It can carry 8,452 20-year-old standard containers. The vessel has a total length of 334.8 meters and a width of 45.8 meters. It is equipped with 942 freezer sockets, shore power devices and ballast water. A number of environmental protection devices such as the processing system and an electronic control engine to increase the efficiency of the host's low-speed navigation. The new ship is expected to be delivered on the 14th of this month and will be used on the Far East-Europe route to replace other ships.
