Marine law enforcement duty vehicle uniform appearance forbid private use
The "Administrative Rules on the Provision, Use and Management of Vehicles for Law Enforcement and Operation of Directly Under the Maritime System" issued and issued by the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport (hereinafter referred to as the “Detailed Rule”) shall be used for the enforcement of duty vehicles in terms of acquisition procedures, use management, renewal and disposal, and accountability. Usage and management work is fully regulated.
The "Detailed Rules" require that the maritime law enforcement duty vehicles should be strictly limited to the first-line enforcement duties. The maritime agencies should strengthen the management of the use of vehicles for law enforcement and duty, establish and improve the use management system, reduce maintenance costs, and increase the efficiency of use. It is strictly prohibited that law enforcement duty vehicles are used for private activities such as weddings and funerals, visiting relatives and friends, vacation and leisure, and learning and driving. It is forbidden to park law enforcement vehicles in various types of leisure and entertainment venues unrelated to maritime affairs. At the same time, in accordance with the "Marine Administrative Law Enforcement Visual Image Construction Standards" requirements, uniform marine law enforcement duty vehicle appearance standards.
The "Rules" also specify the corresponding treatment of liability matters for maritime agencies and drivers.
