People familiar with the decision-making level of Beijing's new energy vehicle policy told Dazhi News Agency that the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission is studying the adjustment of the ratio of new energy passenger car indicators because the application for the Beijing New Energy Passenger Car Index continues to fall. Next year, it is possible to adjust the ratio of new energy passenger car indicators, unit indicators may be reduced, and personal indicators will be expanded accordingly.
Previously, according to relevant regulations, by 2017, Beijing will allocate 170,000 new energy passenger car indicators. Among them, in 2014, the demonstration of the application of new energy passenger car indicators of 20,000, personal indicators and unit indicators each accounted for half.
Up to now, Beijing has carried out five sets of new energy minibus indicators, and the effective application of units has continued to fall sharply. In the application for the first phase of the new energy minibus index, the number of effective applications per unit reached 2,537, but in the configuration of the fifth phase, there were only 359 valid applications.

People familiar with the matter said that the bus reform and other factors are the reasons for the continuous reduction of applications for new energy passenger cars. In the case that the unit application continues to fall, it is unreasonable that the new energy passenger car unit index still accounts for half of the total number of indicators.
At present, Jianghuai Automobile (600418.SH), BAIC, BYD (002594.SZ), Changan Automobile (000625.SZ), and BMW Brilliance have been selected as the catalogues for the demonstration and application of new energy passenger cars in Beijing. 7 pure electric vehicles such as Beiqi E150EV, Beiqi Shengbao EV, BYD E6, BYD Tengshi, Jianghuai and Yueyi iEV, BMW Brilliance, and SAIC E50 were selected for the Beijing New Energy Vehicle Catalog. It is reported that Dongfeng Nissan Kaichen Morning Wind is expected to be selected for a new batch of catalogues in Beijing.
