From the Northwest Herald. Cole Ryals was working at Algonquin Sub Shop when a panicked man rushed in on Saturday and asked him to call 911. The house at 5 Filip St. was already on fire, with thick smoke pouring out of the windows and roof. "It was the first time I ever had to call the police—I didn’t know what to do," said Ryals, 18, who was clearly shaken by the experience. Firefighters from the Algonquin Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District arrived at 6:36 p.m., finding the two-story home fully engulfed. Flames were shooting through the roof, and neighbors reported seeing heavy smoke billowing into the sky. Initially, firefighters tried to enter the building, but they were forced to retreat when the roof structure began to collapse. They then focused on extinguishing the fire from the outside and remained on scene until about 9:30 p.m. No one was inside the house when the fire started. Two cats were found safe and later handed over to the homeowners upon their return. There were no injuries reported, and emergency crews from Crystal Lake, Cary, Huntley, Carpentersville, and McHenry County Animal Control all assisted with the response. - Chelsea McDougall Thanks Scott This is from Tyler Tobolt: Tyler Tobolt photo Tyler Tobolt photo Tyler Tobolt photo Tyler Tobolt photo UTV Spare Parts,Winch Kit For UTV,Optional Spare Parts,Universal UTV Windshield TAIZHOU NEBULA POWER CO.,LTD , https://www.xingyunutv.com
