Mike Higuera, Jr., the manager of The Ranch Golf Course in San Jose, CA, faced these issues firsthand when working with large volumes of liquid chemicals. Initially, the 55-gallon drums were stored horizontally in a chemical shed with spigots mounted on the front. Another addition is an air regulator adapter that connects the pump directly to the course’s compressor, eliminating the need for manual pumping. “It’s a huge time-saver and reduces physical strain on the staff,” Higuera said. The result has been significant improvements in efficiency, fewer injuries, and less product waste. “These pumps have paid for themselves quickly,” he concluded. “They’re a smart investment that makes our daily operations much easier.”
