Josh Boyajian was on the scene tonight as Chicago fire crews responded to a still alarm at 6220 S. Austin Ave around 7 PM. Here's what he saw and captured:

The call came in for a still alarm at a one-and-a-half story single-family home. When Engine 127 arrived, they spotted smoke coming from the attic. Truck 60 immediately took control of Sector 1 and began laddering the roof, while Engine 32 led a line with Engine 127. This was a quick response, and the crews were on top of it right away.
T60 had the main line going to the roof,
E127 was leading out a line,
E32 was also moving lines into position,
E127 tapped into a hydrant to support the operation.

It’s always interesting to see how quickly these crews respond and how well they work together. The photos give a good look at the equipment and the effort being put in by the firefighters. I’ve included some images from the scene below. It was a solid response, and I’m glad to be able to share what I saw tonight.
