This message is from Josh Boyajian:

Last Tuesday night, June 2nd, 2015, the EFAO dispatched Truck 30 to a reported fire at 66th and Lowe. We were en route when Engine 54 arrived on scene with a two-story wood-frame structure showing flames on the second floor. Several hose lines were deployed, and Squad 5 was quickly put to work. While crews were in the overhaul phase of that fire, Engine 93 responded to a fully involved one-and-a-half story house at 99th and Wallace just minutes after arriving. They immediately called for a "box" — meaning additional resources. We left the scene at 66th Street and headed over to 99th and Wallace.

Here are some photos from both incidents.

These images give a real sense of what it's like to be on the scene during a fast-moving fire. The quick response and coordination between units were critical in managing both incidents. More photos will follow soon.
