TORONTO, August 1, 2024 — Rexel Energy Solutions (RES), a division of Nedco, has joined forces with ChargeLab to support Canadian businesses in securing up to 50% grant funding for the purchase and installation of new electric vehicle (EV) chargers. This opportunity is available through the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP), managed by Natural Resources Canada.
Applications for ZEVIP opened on July 2, 2024, and will close on September 19, 2024. This marks the first round of ZEVIP funding available to EV charger owners and operators since 2022. Eligible applicants include Canadian businesses, utilities, municipalities, condo corporations, or any other site host installing at least two DC fast chargers or 20 Level 2 chargers. The grant covers up to 50% of total project costs, with a maximum of $5 million per organization.
