I just got back from the wet down ceremony for Tri-State’s brand-new Engine 521. It’s officially in service and will be stationed at Fire Station 2, operating alongside the tower ladder as part of a jump team. The vehicle looks fantastic and is fully equipped to handle any emergency situation.
Interestingly enough, they mentioned that Engine 511 should be going into service sometime next week. That’s exciting news for the department and the community they serve.

You can see the firefighters gathered around it, looking proud and excited about their new addition. In another shot, you’ll notice the wet down ceremony itself—there’s a celebratory feel in the air as water hoses arc high above the truck. The final two images capture some candid moments with the crew, showing their camaraderie and dedication.]
This is such a significant moment for the Tri-State Fire Protection District. It’s always inspiring to witness how these new resources help enhance their ability to protect lives and property. Kudos to everyone involved in making this happen!
