Hey there! I just got some exciting updates from Larry Shapiro regarding the new fire engine arriving in Waukegan. The city's Engine 1, a 2016 Seagrave Marauder II with a 1500/750 pump configuration, is finally set to hit the streets in the next few weeks. This beast of a machine has been eagerly awaited by the department, and it’s great to see it finally making its way into service.
I’ve had the chance to snap a few shots of this beauty while it was being prepped. As you can see from the photos below, this rig is nothing short of impressive. From the sleek design to the powerful engine, it’s clear that the folks at Seagrave have outdone themselves.
