This time, they were sent to Libertyville to help locate a gun that had been tossed into the Des Plaines River near Route 176. Swift water divers were deployed into the river, but they couldn’t find the weapon. They plan to continue the search today (Thursday). The Sonar Team has been involved in several searches across Buffalo Grove, Johnsburg, and Libertyville over the past few weeks.
