Increased international competitiveness of the domestic machine tool industry

The competition between China's machine tool companies and international machine tool companies is inevitable under the global economic environment. What the domestic machine tool companies have to do is to give full play to their existing advantages and strive to upgrade their products against the market gap. The biggest advantage of the Chinese machine tool industry is that it is close to the machine-consumption market in China, and the industry can achieve technological upgrading in the tide of market development.

Of course, in order to further guide the market demand, the Chinese machine tool industry must continue to devote itself to strengthening the technical strength. It is believed that in the near future, local Chinese companies will be able to provide the market with higher-performance machine tool products.

In other words, the Chinese machine tool industry will strive to adapt to economic growth and possess the technological advantages required by users of global machine tools—this includes high precision, high efficiency, high output rate, and high stability. On this basis, we can deepen the international competitiveness of China's machine tool industry.

Recalling the development of Japanese machine tool technology, the role played by CNC technology cannot be ignored. At present, the numerical control rate of Japanese machine tool products has reached an average level of 95-96%. According to the characteristics and performance of the machine tool, the Japanese industry is obviously paying special attention to the current and future areas with huge potential for economic development. We are deeply gratified that Japanese machine tools have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of China's manufacturing industry.

In fact, the links between the machine tool industry in China and Japan are getting closer. This is evidenced by the development of JMTBA's member companies in China – there are currently a total of 63 JMTBA members operating in China. (At least there are business sites). This number was 55 in 2000, and it is still growing steadily in the following years.
