Cell fenders are best employed for small or large vessels where Reaction Force is an important criteria. Among all types of fenders, Cell fenders offer minimum reaction per ton-meter energy absorbed. The very geometric shape gives it sturdiness, shear resistance, compact structure and the capacity to absorb energy equally from all directions. The Cylindrical buckling column absorbs axial loads effectively and buckles radially. This results in multi-directional dispersion of energy. Cell fenders are the most durable rubber fenders available and are currently the largest moulded fenders made. 2000-2500 mm high cell fenders are typically used for LNG berths. In order to distribute the reaction force, cell fenders are typically supplied with large fender panels, which keeps the hull pressure low.

Bar Pointing Machine

Sharpening is an indispensable preparation procedure before drawing die. According to the introduction, the rotary forging machine has been used in the coarse wire rolling abroad. It is also useful for electric rolling, that is, the two ends of the wire are clamped with electric pliers, and then the wire is stretched into a point and broken. At present, all the domestic use of rolling rod tip, mainly the reciprocating rotary old rolling machine and eccentric rolling machine cycle rotation. The reciprocating rotary tip rolling machine is used for decades of old equipment, simple structure, suitable for small factories and production of low carbon steel wire.

This equipment is composed of three parts: transmission, frame and rolling stick. It is reduced by belt wheel and gear, and the big gear rotates about 60 times per minute. A short eccentric shaft is attached to the side of the big gear, which makes the rolling stick rotate around 50° through the arm and connecting rod. If the position of the arm and the connecting rod is changed, the Angle of the rolling rod can be changed.

This old fashioned bar is 100~120 mm in diameter and has 8~16 slots. According to the diameter of the wire, slot from large to small in order. Slot compression rate is: coarse steel wire about 20%, medium and fine specification about 15%. The slot is concentric and symmetrical with the outer circle.
